The Manchester Young Professionals Network will host their Eighth Birthday event on Wednesday, October 10th at the beautiful Derryfield Country Club.
Tagged as the ‘social event of the season,’ MYPN’s Eighth Birthday will feature networking opportunities; a recap of the 2012 NH Start-up Challenge; guest speakers; recognition of the MYPN Young Professional of the Year and MYPN Business of the Year awards – and “all that jazz.”
MYPN is New Hampshire’s first and largest young professionals networking organization. The group was established in 2004 to create business opportunities, support community involvement and foster an overall investment in the future of the greater Manchester, NH area.
Since its inception, MYPN has provided young professionals social and business events to develop professional skills, promote their skills and business and gain access to community leaders. MYPN fosters several key programs in addition to monthly events, such as the NH Start-up Challenge which provides a $55,000 cash and in-kind services to a competing entrepreneur and the new Corner Office Connections program, accepting applications later this year.
MYPN is thrilled to bring the event to the Derryfield Country Club. The historic property, circa 1831, nestled amidst one hundred acres of manicured greens, majestic pines and gently sloping fairways has been home to a captain’s tavern and a working farm. Derryfield Country Club opened in 1932.
